What is the turnaround time?
Most orders are ready to ship or pick up the same day when
ordered by 11am eastern time Monday through Thursday. If you order after
11am or on Friday, then it generally ships out the following business day.
Materials to complete your order must be in stock so please confirm same
day shipping is available when you order.
Can I get a sample sign before I order a larger quantity?
Yes. You can get a sample sign however it will be billed at
the cost to produce a single sign. Material samples or color swatches
are available for a nominal shipping or postage cost.
How much is the set-up fee?
There are no set-up fees. That is one of the reasons Rocket
Signs is a different kind of sign company to deal with... no hidden surprise
charges to make the prices of the items appear artificially low..
How long does it take before the order is shipped out?
Orders are shipped out the same day they are ready if the shipping
carrier has not picked up already. Our turnaround time is same-day
for most orders when ordered by 11am eastern time when all materials are
in stock. Even if you order after 11am, if the order is ready in
time for pickup, it will ship out.
Do I need a permit for my sign(s)?
To find out if your sign needs a permit, you can call your
local code enforcement deparment or building and zoning department. They
should be able to tell you what is allowed in your area, and if a permit
is needed and how much they cost. We may be able to find out for you if
you inform your sales rep of your location.
Can you put my logo or clipart on the sign?
Yes. And this is all part of the free design so there are no
extra charges to do this.
What if I have a problem with my order?
Rocket Signs is known for excellent customer service, even
after the sale. If there is any problem with your order, please call and
tell someone about it and the problem will be resolved.
Can I order online?
The web site is not set up to order online and due to the nature
of ordering custom signs and the importance of getting it right the first
time, it is best to phone in your order. You are welcome to e-mail
your sales rep with art/copy or order details, however.
Can I get a price break for a package of signs, if they are not all alike?
In some cases, yes. Depending on the size, you may be
able to split your order even if the signs say different things. Your sales
rep will be able to give you a definitive answer.
Do you offer price matching or low price guarantee?
Please let your sales rep know of a competitor's lower price.
While there isn't a price matching guarantee, there's no way to match a
price if you don't tell tell your Rocket Signs rep what you've found.
A lot of times, in this industry something may seem like a lower price
but the deal is riddled with hidden fees, surprise charges and exhorbitant
shipping rates. Or worse, you get your order only to find that rather than
professionally made signs, they are photocopies taped to a sign board.
This kind of stuff really goes on so you have to be careful who you order
from.
Why do signs with more than one color cost so much more?
Every time a color is added, it's like printing the whole order
again. So it may seem like a high extra cost to add colors, it is because
the labor for printing is doubled with every color added.
Why are your prices so much lower than everywhere else?
The main reason may be due to lower overhead. Mainly
not having a large staff and not having a high-rent shopping center location
is probably why.
How do I get my order?
Most orders are shipped through shipping carriers. Those that
are not are delivered by sales reps or other staff if it is in a local
area. Orders can also be picked up if it is produced in your area.
Do you accept purchase orders?
Yes.
Can I pay C.O.D.?
Yes. To pay C.O.D., you will first need to set up a Rocket
Signs Express Charge account which will give you the option to receive
an invoice to pay either on delivery or a specified period of time.
Do you guarantee my sign(s) will be ready by my deadline?
Yes. There is a specific guarantee that pertains to delivering
on time. Please see the On-time guarantee page for complete terms and conditions.
Will you export to Canada or countries other than the US?
Yes. While it only seems cost effective at this time
to ship to eastern and central portions of Canada, export is offered outside
the U.S.A. when required.
Is there a minimum order? Can I order just one sign?
There typically aren't any minimum orders and so you can order just one item if you wish. Many price charts shown do not start at one sign. Please contact a sales consultant to determine the price for a single sign or quantity not shown. In some cases it is not cost effective to get less than the quantity shown, but not always.
Is there a warranty?
Some items do have a warranty on the material. Please contact
your sales rep to find out if the type of sign you want to order is warranted.
Do you offer installation services?
Installation is offered in some cities in the US where Rocket
Signs has representatives. Call to find out.
