Step 1 usually takes 5-15 minutes.

The next easy step is submitting artwork. Everyone has artwork.
"Artwork" is an industry term loosely used to describe what you want on
the sign, including logos, wording, ad copy and photos. If you haven't
ordered before artwork will either need to be submitted or designed.
Artwork can be anything from a rough sketch you've drawn on a napkin
to a professionally designed file from a graphic designer or advertising
agency.

Simple artwork can be read over the phone if you have few preferences
as to layout, fonts etc. You can do this when you order. This is the quickest
way. |

Simple artwork can be faxed in if you have a clean copy of a logo or
if faxing is easier for you. You can do this after your order is placed.
You will be given a special toll free fax number to fax directly. |

If your sign or logo is already designed and you have a file to send,
you can e-mail it if it is a file type the art department can open. Files
with the following extensions: EMF, TIF, JPG, PNG or GIF. If the
file is over 10MB in size, FTP it. (below). You will be given the appropriate
e-mail address to send it to. |

Large color files, are often too large to e-mail. If you have a large
file to supply, if it can't be e-mailed, use the FTP system to upload your
large files to the server. For experienced users only. |

Step 2 usually takes 1-5 minutes.

The last step is the easiest! Before your order is started, It's
a good idea to examine the design for accuracy and to be sure you'll be
happy with it. Rocket Signs will be happy to send you a proof that
will show you how your signs will look. A proof is a scale layout
and it can be sent to you 1 of 2 ways.
If you get the proof and you do not like how it looks, please tell tell
your sales rep and the layout will be re-done. It won't hurt anyone's
feelings if you don't like it. The design will be changed until you are
happy with it! |
