Riders & Extensions
There are 2 kinds of riders.  The first kind, called a "rider", uses a mini step stake to slide into the top of the sign board.  It's not a seamless connection. The second kind are extensions, which are appear as a seamless attachment, so it looks like one solid sign board.
The picture above shows an extension on the left and a rider on the right.  It is actually very hard to tell a rider from an extension with these photos because the rider stake was placed in the sign board perfectly which makes them all appear seamless.
The picture above shows an extension.  That's right! It's at the bottom.  Extensions can go at the top or the bottom. Even the sides and corners!  This particular extension is just a plain rectangle printed on yellow boards, and it simply uses the same step stake. It slides on first for a seamless connection.

Extensions are also an inexpensive way to add to the size of a sign board.  For example, if you add a 2" extension to an 18" board, the total size will be 20" in height. Since a 20" size is not a standard size, it would require additional labor and cost more than a standard size. By using extensions to add to the size, it can be less expensive, especially when you want your signs to say different phrases and have multiple colors. It also gives you the flexibility to change messages.  Inquire about getting different messages when you order.

A rider is shown to the left.  As you can see, they will also serve as mini- yard signs.  They are essentially the same thing.

Corrugated signs provide an unmatched flexibility for changing messages and having a unique professional appearance.

Riders can be die cut to special shapes and really make your signs stop crowds!

The picture to the left shows a complete yard sign with a circular extension which sits on the corner.

In this particular case, the "Now Open" phrase can be removed at a later date and the signs can be used long after their grand opening.

It's best to get a custom quote on riders which can be calculated based on what your base signs will accommodate and the quantity needed.
