Stake varieties and additional details
|
Step Stakes
The Step Stakes which are the least expensive stand are available in
different configurations. These stands assemble by inserting the end of
the stake into the flutes (corrugations) in the sign panels. They slide
into the ground with foot pressure, by stepping on the bottom crossbar
of the stake. Many times, you can just push them into the ground
with your arms. It's important to make sure your signs have the flutes
running vertically or else these stakes won't work. |

The full height step stakes are available in different widths. The
10" wide are typically recommended for 24" wide panels. The 6" wide stakes
are typically recommended for 18" wide panels. The 4" wide stakes are for
mini sizes. All of these stakes will hold up the 24" wide panels however
and some users prefer the 6" wide stakes because they do not bend as easily
in the wind or when stepping them into the ground.

Half Stakes & Rider Stakes
Half Stakes and Rider stakes are available and are both a little different
from each other. The rider stakes for for securing riders to the top of
yard signs. They are sized appropriately for the size rider you are ordering.
The half stakes are about half the height of a regular step stake and
they elevate the sign half as much from the ground. Besides taking up less
storage space, the half stakes don't flex in the wind like the taller stakes.
They are often preferred for a somewhat less prominate installation such
as in a residential area. Half stakes can also be used to make your signs
stand out in places where there may be many other signs on full-height
stakes.

Flute-Corrector Stakes
Flute-Corrector Stakes are for corrugated panels that have the
flutes running the wrong way for step stakes. Eliminates the need to
reprint or use wood stakes. Prongs slide into the sides instead of the
bottom. Used in pairs.

Premium Stakes
These stakes are ideal for signs that are installed and removed frequently
or more than about 4 times. The regular step stakes are only designed for
1 time use, but usually last for about 4 uses before they get bent out
of shape.
These stakes will not bend or break with constant use and are black
in color.
Great for real estate or job site signs. Available in a full height
and half-height size too!

Take two Step Stakes and insert them into 2 separate signs as shown in
the picture. The signs will stand up without needing to be staked into
the ground.
Use these with any standard size corrugated signs either on a counter
or on a flat surface like a floor. Perfect for flea markets, schools, or
window displays.
