At Rocket Signs, we acknowledge that a newer way of doing things is not necessarily a better way of doing things and thatโs why we give you the choice. We do offer digitally printed banners, after all. Itโs typically what we would use for a banner with full color artwork that needs to be printed in CMYK or the banner that they need is something that does not need to last a long time. Digitally printed banners does have some advantages. There are pros and cons with each.
- The most opaque printing
- Won't look dull from day 1
- Doesnโt fade
- printing lasts for years
- looks more professional over time
- easier to read
- crisp graphics
- Artwork can be more restrictive
- The availability of vinyl is not what it used to be and could take longer to make
- Can use eye catching full color designs over the whole thing
- Can better match colors when only digital color models are known (RGB/Hex)
- Usually ready faster
- A lot more flexibility for designs
- Specialty fabrics can be used
- The output can look faded relative to vinyl banners
- the outdoor durability of the printing is not as long and can fade pretty quick
- Digital files are typically printed at a lower resolution and when viewed up close can look noticeably pixelated.
